The development of engine technology toward lighter-weight and more efficient aluminum engines is also leading to special requirements in terms of coolants. OAT and/or Si-OAT products offer comprehensive protection throughout the entire cooling system by means of a specially aligned inhibitor system. The inhibitors contained in our FROSTOX® products ensure optimum corrosion protection for nonferrous, light and ferrous metals. Our high-quality coolant additives coat the various components of a cooling system (metals, elastomers and plastics) with a thin but very robust layer and reliably protect against corrosion, overheating and frost.
FROSTOX® HT12 is the most advanced monoethylene-glycol-based premium antifreeze concentrate in the FROSTOX® series. The Si-OAT corrosion protection technology used contains no 2-ethylhexanoic acid and fulfills with ease the requirements of modern high-performance engines with respect to resistance to thermal stress, long-term stability and long-term corrosion protection. The HT12 technology offers long-term protection for up to five years or 250,000 km. FROSTOX® HT12 contains no nitrites, amines, phosphates or borates.
FROSTOX® HT12 is an official factory filling product (initial filling product) in the case of BMW / MINI and in the VW Group (VW, Audi, Cupra, Seat, Škoda, among others). It is available as a concentrate as well as in ready-to-use form.

FROSTOX® PSF12 is a silicate-free, environmentally-friendly antifreeze for combustion engine cooling circuits based on propane-1,2 diol (monopropylene glycol) and organic acids. FROSTOX® PSF12 is a long-life coolant and can be used as a lifetime fill in vehicles.
FROSTOX® PSF12 contains high-performance corrosion inhibitors and provides optimal protection of all metals and metal alloys used in cooling systems, including aluminum. FROSTOX® PSF12 also prevents scale formation and deposits in the cooling system in addition to corrosion. FROSTOX® S is an acidic cooling system cleaner for use in internal combustion engines. It easily removes deposits from the cooling system.
FROSTOX® S is based on monoethylene glycol, contains organic acid corrosion inhibitors, is silicate free and provides mild and gentle cleansing of cooling systems.
FROSTOX® S is suitable for use with cast iron and all-aluminum engines.

FROSTOX® SF-D12/DI++ is an environmentally-friendly break-in and corrosion protection agent for combustion engines on the basis of ethane-1,2-diol, which is formulated with so-called Si-OAT corrosion protection technology.
This corrosion inhibitor system combines modern, carboxylic-acid-based corrosion inhibitor technology with the advantages of silicate antifreeze.
FROSTOX® SF-D12/DI++ contains a vapor corrosion inhibitor. Consequently, it protects all of the different metals and alloys used in the engine — including aluminum — in the vapor phase as well.

FROSTOX® HT12 eco is an advanced premium antifreeze concentrate in the FROSTOX® series based on renewable monoethylene glycols (bMEGs). Renewable glycols are made of certified wood which is also regionally produced in Germany. They are completely recyclable, sustainable, CO2-optimized and have the same performance characteristics as synthetic glycols. HAERTOL uses glycols from UPM Biochemicals, which are exclusively regionally produced within Germany. The future biorefinery, a worldwide first at the chemicals site of Leuna, is only 122 km away from the HAERTOL plant. This guarantees you maximum security of supply as well as a seamlessly documented product chain.
